Washing Your T-Shirt

Turn the shirt inside out before washing. This protects the printed graphic from rubbing against other garments. Use cold water (30°C / 86°F or below) on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.

Avoid fabric softeners on printed areas — they can build up and dull the design over time. Wash with similar colors, and never use bleach. Cold water also saves energy and is gentler on the environment, which matches the eco-friendly inks we use.

Drying

Air drying is best. Lay the shirt flat or hang it to dry, away from direct sunlight which can fade colors. If you use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting and remove the shirt while slightly damp. High heat is the main cause of shrinkage and cracked prints.

Ironing

Iron on a low setting with the shirt inside out. Never run a hot iron directly over the printed graphic — place a thin cloth between the iron and the print if you need to press that area. Steam works well for releasing wrinkles without direct contact.

Removing Stains

Treat stains as soon as possible. Dab — don't rub — with cold water and a little mild detergent. Work from the outside of the stain inward to avoid spreading it. Skip harsh stain removers and bleach on or near the print. For stubborn marks, soak in cold water before a gentle wash.

Keeping Your Prints Vivid

Our water-based inks bond with the cotton fibres rather than sitting on top, so they feel soft and last well. To get the most life from them:

  • Always wash inside out in cold water

  • Skip the dryer when you can — air dry instead

  • Never iron directly on the design

  • Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals

  • Store folded, away from sunlight

Fabric & Sustainability

Every Gooddszeei tee uses OEKO-TEX certified cotton, tested for harmful substances and safe for sensitive skin. Our water-based inks use fewer harsh chemicals and breathe better than plastic-based prints. Caring for your shirt properly also means it lasts longer — the most sustainable shirt is the one you keep wearing for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my shirt shrink?

Our cotton is pre-shrunk, so shrinkage is minimal when you wash cold and dry on low heat. High dryer heat is the main cause of shrinking, so air drying is the safest option.

How many washes will the print last?

With proper care, the print stays vivid for 50 or more washes. Washing inside out in cold water and avoiding high heat makes the biggest difference.

Can I tumble dry my tee?

Yes, on the lowest heat setting. For the longest life, air dry flat or hang to dry instead.

Is the fabric safe for kids and sensitive skin?

Yes. The OEKO-TEX certified cotton is tested for harmful chemicals and the soft water-based inks are gentle against the skin, making our tees suitable for toddlers through adults.
